The Micca Market is transformed into a small fashion trade and fair where it hosts self produced clothing and accessory labels. After the success of our first date dedicated to independent labels, we have decided to repeat the initiative thanks to great demand.
The Micca Market, Micca Club’s Sunday date with market and aperitifs proposes themes events for 2010 to make itself an exchange point between realities of the sector.

Also Rome is about to open itself up to initiatives relating to underground fashion. A more alternative space rather than the usual institutional circuits where one has a chance of seeing new realties from all over Italy.

The brands are chosen according to criteria that judges the quality and innovation of the product. First of all the originality of the design, but also the choice of materials. A fundamental aspect in choosing the brand is also its concept, the way in which it develops its identity and experience which is capable of communicating with the consumer. Every brand is a world and the idea is that of bringing many different microcosms together into one event that draw their inspiration from all kinds of environments, from indie music to art nouveaux, from pin-up to the club culture, from Street to Pop...

Like every Sunday the initiative also gives you the chance to sip an aperitif offered from one of the stands whilst listening to the excellent music provided by the djset.

FLAMANT... BEDROOM

HAND MADE T-SHIRTS. With particular creative sensitiveness one can obtain a unique piece from a simple t-shirt: personalized, hand dyed and eco-friendly. The latest in design is a mini capsule collection: recycled and wash are the key words to obtain a t-shirt that is always different starting from... spices, clays, herbal brews, fruit and vegetables. A new way of conceiving the fashion system was born with .ACIDLAB: no more sequins and chiffon trains, but a fashion that comes from the streets, one that regains possession of the traditional craftsmanship that has always characterized our country, that shouts out at the top of its voice with pride "what we need is the street, what we need is the fashion that WE make. We dictate laws on a daily basis that are then copied by the catwalks!"

STAY SICK
Stay Sick is expression, artistic expression, expression of opinions. A means through which one can translate what we are harbouring in our minds in a visible manner, without giving too much importance to what fashion is. Stay Sick is cynical, Stay Sick is incorrect, Stay Sick is a stand. A line of t-shirts manually printed in seriograph, as well as hand painted hats and bags. Someone said that "Stay Sick are drops of pee that stick on your shoes ".

. A perpetual laboratory of ideas. Graphics and words through illogical and insolent ideas. Before being transformed into graphical visions (from illustrations to stickers, to t-shirts) that setting up from the duo is a philosophy: the attempt to interpret daily life by freeing oneself from the politically correct style and creativity. Fuck is denial. Totum is the surroundings.

MUMUTZU
Mumutzu urban invaders is a self produced and self financed brand of accessories and street wear clothing that was established in January 2007.
It derived from the passion for eccentric design, packaging, T-shirts and everything which is accessorial.
Essential, minimal graphics; clean lines and colourful backgrounds. Produced by simple and clean design, but never taken for granted.
Inside the production of accessories purposely studied for the urban cyclist and vinyl collector.
In its own small way the brand is sensitive to protecting the climate and the environment.
As a matter of fact, the new collection of T-shirts is entirely printed on organic cotton and the packaging and labels are made using 100% recycled paper.

OCHOBAGS (Rome)
Ochobags is a different way of conceiving the bag universe: You are the one who creates YOUR way of carrying it. Ocho is made up of various bags of all different sizes and materials, some of which are salvaged or vintage. The various handbags (all reversible) are joined together by special hooks that allow you to slip off the single clutch bags and put them back together again according to personal taste and needs.
Ochobags is a brand created by Arianna Vivenzio, designer of fashion accessories but also of home furnishings with which she will be in Milan for the next Salone Satellite 2010.

Passepartout came about spontaneously from the desire to reinvent the way of conceiving accessories. It proposes a style that drives imagination and fantasy: continual search of new materials is in fact one of the cornerstones of their work.
The accessories are totally decontextualized, taking on a new identity inside creations that enhance a minimal look or are shaped with daily inspiration and creativity. What used to be only considered as functional is now part of the models’ image and character: the importance that the linings, usually hidden, use for PP bags, is a surprise to look out for.

An eclectic journey in the underground music scene from the 60’s to the latest trends of the Indie scene, that runs into the darkest bands of the new London scene in the indispensable Brit pop tradition and in the anti heroes of the No New York. Lino and Nicola are known as the Fish'n'Chips djs, now one of the Micca Club’s cult evenings in Rome that holds the monthly Fish'n'Chips Live Experience, the one night show that hosts the newest, most promising up and coming bands on the Indie scene.
